How It Works

Science-backed in 3 steps

From enrollment to your first personalized training plan in minutes — for any program.

Step 01

Choose & enroll

Select Sprint & Agility, Distance Running, or both. Enter your athlete's baseline data — race times, sprint benchmarks, or current fitness level.

Step 02

Metrics are calculated

Our engine builds personalized training zones from your athlete's actual race times and performance data — for distance runners and sprinters alike.

Step 03

Train with purpose

Every workout has a target tied to your athlete's profile. No guesswork — just the right intensity for the right adaptation, every session.

Distance Program · Training Zones

Every run has a purpose.

Not every run should be hard. Training zones help athletes run at the right effort for the right day — so easy runs actually recover, and hard runs actually build fitness. Five zones. Each one with a job to do.

FAQ

Common questions

What programs are available?

CT Speed Lab offers two programs: Sprint & Agility (multi-sport speed, acceleration, agility, and power development — for lacrosse, football, soccer, basketball, baseball, track and more) and Distance Running (science-based endurance training for XC and track). You can enroll in one or both.

What ages is this for?

CT Speed Lab is designed for youth athletes ages 11–18. All accounts require a parent or guardian to create the account.

What data do I need to get started?

For Distance Running: at least 2 race times (1600m + 3200m is ideal). For Sprint & Agility: baseline sprint times or a recent fitness assessment. You can update data anytime as your athlete improves.

How are training paces calculated?

Training paces are derived from your athlete's actual race performances using proven sports science methods. The more race data you enter, the more accurate and personalized the zones become.

Can I enroll in both programs?

Yes. Sprint & Agility offers drop-in sessions at $35/session, or the full 6-week package for $250 (best value). Distance Running is $150/mo. You can enroll in both independently from your account dashboard.

Is there a mobile app?

The iOS app is in development and will be available to all subscribers at no extra charge when it launches. Web access is available now.

Can I cancel?

Yes, cancel anytime from your account settings. No questions asked.
